I've got a mission today. Beating Monday Blues! So let's start with a big lunch. (you know girl always need a reason to eat!) California Pizza Kitchen is our choice this time.

There're original hand stretched pizzas and crispy thin crust pizzas you can choose, we girl choose the CPK best and classic Milan pizza that's the thin one which comparingly seem to be "healthier". It came with Italian sausages with wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella and Parmesan and topped with herbs. The crust was thin but yet had enough texture and flavor. The cheeses were rich enough and perfectly melted. I especially like the topped herbs that can enliven top the pizza.

CPK有兩種批底俾你揀，今日我地揀左個薄批食(感覺上無咁肥!) Milan pizza果然係招牌菜! 雖然係薄邊, 但口感一留! 脆得黎好香, 而且非常足料, 雜菌應該有預先炒香左先再做topping (因為跌左出黎果D就咁食都好香牛油同洋蔥味)辣辣地嘅意式香腸好好味, 唔會太咸, 恰到好處! 另外芝士分量好多, 再加埋面果層香草, 我真係好滿意個pizza!

we also ordered a Kung Pao Spaghetti. Kung Pao sauce is a Chinese classic with garlic, green onions, peanuts and hot red chilies. As a Chinese this is a eye-catching name for us which we really were interested in how would  Kung Pao sauce will be work with spaghetti. Surprisingly the using of garlic, green onion and white vinegar were pretty match with spaghetti. I really appreciate such kind of mix and match, showing that the company is attentive to their customers.

第一眼係meun見到呢個pasta就決定要試, 中西合壁應該幾特別. 果次無令我地失望, 辣辣地嘅宮堡醬好開胃, 辣汁炒海鮮永遠都咁夾! 最surprise嘅係, D蝦都炒得好爽口 (雖然十成係雪蝦) 










The last dishes we ordered was garlic and cheese focaccia, serve with tomato salad. The dough was as soft as a sponge.

意式香草包係最後一味. 呢個包好軟, 軟到好似海棉咁, 而且溫度岩岩好. 出面好多地方都有香草包食, 而且都好好食, 但全部都好油! CPK個香草包特別在昋得黎唔會一拎上手就成手油, 正!!!



As the portion is really big, it's better to share with a big group of friend.
