< Muzi Dessert 木子甜品 > by SPD4459 City Diner at YTM


Walking along Dundas Street after dinner with friends yesterday and looking for dessert. We found a small Taiwanese takeaway dessert shop, Muzi Dessert.

同朋友食完飯係登打士街行行下,就覺得未夠喉,仲係口痕痕咁決定要搵啲甜品食下。好快就比我見到一間台式外賣甜品店,木子甜品

After traveling Taiwan in last year, I have been missing Taiwanese food so much especially the Taiwanese sweet potato mochi and taro mochi. We feel excited Hong Kong has such a typical Taiwanese dessert shop that selling mochi and City Diner would definitely not miss it.

係上一年去完台灣,就已經好掛住台灣既食物,特別係台灣出名既地瓜圓同芋圓。所以我見到香港有依啲既甜品店就好開心好興奮。作為City Diner就當然唔會錯過啦。



Muzi Dessert offers six different types of Taiwanese ice with sweet potato mochi (地瓜圓), taro mochi (芋圓), in addition, customers can choose different flavors of iced purees (雪泥) including tofu, green tea, mango, etc.


Muzi Dessert also offers custard egg pudding. When we were looking at the pictures on the menu, we wanted to try that immediately. The cost is reasonable, which all favor of mochi cost only for $23.

After spending about 15 minutes for choosing and deciding which mochi to order, we finally come out a decision and we had chose to order the taro mochi with tofu ice puree, which is the most popular combination in the shop.

木子甜品有六款冰冰芋圓,每一款都有芋圓同地瓜圓,之後再可以揀唔同味既雪泥襯,有豆腐、綠茶、芒果等。
除此之外,木子甜品仲有牛奶雞蛋布丁,靜係睇餐牌既相就好想即刻試一試佢。價錢亦都好合理,所有芋圓都只係$23。
City Diner用左15分鐘苦惱揀邊款芋圓同雪泥,最終都係揀返最多人叫既芋圓1號配豆腐雪泥。



Both the sweet potato mochi and taro mochi were so tasty and chewy, the favor of taro and potato were rich and fresh. The size of the mochi was tiny, which make it more chewy and delicious. The combination between the mochi and ice purees was fantastic, the chewy mochi matched with soft smooth ice purees, they made every single taste became awesome!

芋圓同地瓜圓食落好好咬口好好味,芋頭味同地瓜味好濃郁同清新。芋圓既大小恰到好處,細細粒令質感更Q更好味。而且芋圓同雪泥既配搭又係出奇地咁好,有咬口既芋圓加上軟棉棉冰凍既雪泥,每一啖都正啊!




When we was enjoying the mochi, we discovered others had ordered a dessert that serve with a cute egg shaped container, we then asked those people what the dessert is, and we figured out that was the custard egg pudding. Of course, we ordered it and had a try.
The container was really cute and beautiful, the pudding inside was smooth and taste really good, the combination between egg and milk was perfectly matched.

City Diner食緊芋圓之際,就見到有人拎住個好得意既雞蛋狀容器,好奇既City Diner當然第一時間走去問下係咩黎,問完就發現原來係牛奶雞蛋布丁,然後就跟下人叫一個試下。
個雞蛋容器真係好特別,入面既布丁好滑好好味,雞蛋同奶既配搭恰到好處,好睇得黎又好食。
